Welcome to the Transformed Events Blog!
First, let’s take some deep breaths together. Breathe in. Breath out. Breath in. Breathe out. Last time. Breath in. Breath out.
This is how I’ll start every post. Chances are, you’re here trying to find information about some topic for your wedding, feeling a bit stressed, somewhat anxious, and maybe even overwhelmed. That’s okay. This is a space for all of your feelings. So, we start our posts by taking deep breaths, because we all need a reminder every now and then to recenter and breathe through whatever life is throwing our way.
Now, let’s get into why you’re here!
This is a blog written by a wedding planning company, and I’m Kayla – the owner, CEO, and lead wedding planner here at Transformed Events.
This photo is of me and my husband, but this wasn’t our wedding day…more of that to come in the future!
I am so passionate about helping people just like you create a beautiful wedding day experience while saving yourself time and money. Whether your budget is $5,000, $10,000, $100,000, or anywhere in between, you have a home here.
In each blog post I write, you can expect a few different things:
Some blogs will be focused on a specific topic. Some blogs will jump around and touch on multiple topics. Some blogs will be longer than others. Some blogs will have more pretty photos than others. Some blogs may be serious. Some blogs may be funny. You’ll get a lot of things, and my goal is for you to always walk away with something.
Just like life, wedding planning is a journey. I just want you to know that I’m here for you, I’m rooting for you, and I’m walking alongside you.
With all of that said, I thought I’d answer a few questions about myself to help you get to know me a little better!
How many years have you been in this industry?
I have been in the wider events industry for 6 years doing everything from social parties to professional development conferences, summer camps, and more. I’ve been in the wedding-specific industry for 4 of those years, and I’ve had Transformed Events for going on 3 years.
If you had to describe yourself as an animal, which one would it be?
My all-time favorite animal is the African Elephant, and that’s exactly how I’d describe myself. Elephants are so big and strong, but they also have a sweet and empathic side. They’re wise, and they have great eyelashes. All qualities I’d use to describe myself 😉
What is your idea of a perfect date?
I absolutely love the beach. I could sit there watching the waves crash onto the shore all day long. My perfect date is a day lounging on the beach with my hubs, soaking up some vitamin D, eating an Italian hoagie, and buying a funnel cake or fried Oreos from the boardwalk.
Thank you for taking the time to read this introductory post, and I hope the rest of this blog empowers you, encourages you, and helps you along on your wedding planning journey.
Sending you lots of love,
Kayla ❤️
